Stuff magazine South Africa has announced their top gadgets of 2011. 

The eleven winners were selected from 74 shortlisted contenders in 11 categories.

“This year’s finalists show that the technology world is embracing simplicity and good design without giving up features and power,” said Stuff editor Toby Shapshak.

The Gadget of the Year is the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, which Stuff said took on the iPad and surpassed their judges’ expectations.
